About Us

Janice Korff, MD, a graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, is the founder and Director of Geriatric Medical Services. She has been working in the field of Geriatric Medicine and Home Care for over 35 years.

In addition to her responsibilities as Director of GMS, she frequently serves as a consultant to other physicians and institutions across the country that care for the elderly patient. Her areas of expertise include dementia and associated disorders as well as home care management.

The staff of Geriatric Medical Services includes several nurses as well as case managers who make ongoing home visits to the patients. In addition, through its holistic approach to treating the patient, GMS utilizes its own network of physical therapists, social workers, and other practitioners to solve any problems that might arise. The patient's needs are addressed and solved expeditiously with the goal of providing an excellent outcome. Finally, because of GMS's long-standing reputation for concerned, sensitive and high-quality care, we are able to draw on a pool of the finest practitioners available.
